What do these types of tattoos consist of?

Tattoo covers or cover up They are more than anything to make a tattoo on top of another tattoo already done a long time ago.

What that is not all, can also be done on top of scars to cover them and beautify the area.

Can anyone do a cover?

It depends, since the old tattoo must be as worn as possible to be able to work on that area and have optimal results.

They can also be done tattoo arrangements that you already have to define them better or retouch the colors, etc.

But nothing is impossible and if you have a somewhat dark tattoo, we can also cover it with another dark tattoo or not very light colors. Take a look at the following examples of covers that we have done in our tattoo studio in Mallorca:

Scar covers

Some people have scars on their belly or leg as a result of surgery. As these are sometimes very visible, the best way to beautify the area is to cover the scar with a beautiful tattoo.

Repair or retouch of old tattoos

We can also improve your tattoo from years ago by adding color, going over the lines and adding new elements. Everything is possible!

How do we prepare the tattoo covers?

  1. As you will see below, the first thing is to study the tattoo you want to cover and see what possibilities we have.
  2. You will tell us your idea and what you want to tattoo on top of the old tattoo and we will advise you on the designs that we can make you.
  3. We will take the measurements of your old tattoo and a photo so we can work on it and design your new tattoo.
  4. On the day of your appointment, as we always do, we will paste over the old tattoo the tracing or transfer with the design you have chosen.
  5. You can check it before we get to tattoo you.
