Flowers are among the most requested tattoos at the studio, and it makes sense. They work well on their own or alongside other elements, small or large, on any part of the body, and in almost any style. But beyond aesthetics, each flower carries its own meaning—and some people choose a rose, a peony, or a lotus flower for something very specific they want to express.

One of the great advantages of floral tattoos is that they adapt to the body better than almost any other motif:

Flowers for cover-ups and scars
Roses and flowers in general are among the best resources for covering old tattoos or transforming scars. Their layers of petals, their density, and their organic shape allow them to integrate what was underneath naturally, without looking like a patch.
Our artists study each case—the color, density, and location of the previous tattoo or scar—before proposing a design. The goal is not just to cover it up, but to create something with its own intrinsic value.

Combinations that work especially well
Flowers are rarely alone in nature, and they don't have to be in a tattoo either:
With fauna: Butterflies, bees or birds interacting with the flowers add a lot of movement to the composition
With temporal elements: Clocks, moons or compasses add an interesting symbolic layer
With letters or phrases: Names or words intertwined with flowers, without one covering the other.
With unexpected contrasts: Skulls, eyes, or jewels combined with flowers — that contrast between the delicate and the dark is one of our hallmarks
