Tattoos of mythological and fantastic beings

What do we talk about when we talk about mythology?

Gods, impossible creatures, figures that have fascinated humanity for thousands of years. Mythological and fantasy tattoos have something that very few styles can offer: enormous symbolic weight and almost unlimited creative freedom.

You can get a tattoo of Zeus in the style of a classical Greek sculpture, a dragon designed from scratch just for you, or a personal allegory that doesn't exist in any book. There are no fixed rules here—there are references, there's history, and there's whatever you want to express.

What can we tattoo?

We work with all kinds of mythological and fantasy references:

Greek and Roman mythology: Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Medusa, the Minotaur… figures inspired by classical sculptures or interpreted from scratch
Christian iconography: Jesus Christ, virgins, angels, archangels, and also representations of the devil or demonic figures
Fantastic creatures: Dragons, mermaids, phoenixes, gargoyles, elves, unicorns, sphinxes, nymphs, and many more
Allegories: Visual representations of abstract ideas—death, justice, time, freedom—through human figures, animals, or objects
An allegory is a way of giving visual form to an idea. Some people get a tattoo of a concept without knowing what it is—they simply know what they want to express.

Sizes and locations

These types of pieces look especially good when displayed large. A full back, an entire arm, the chest, or the thigh provide the space these compositions need to breathe and showcase detail. That said, there are mythological designs that work perfectly well in smaller formats—it depends on the style and what you want to include.

The advantage of mythology: you can mix everything together.

You can take elements from different mythologies, combine a classical figure with contemporary aesthetics, invent a being that doesn't exist in any tradition but makes perfect sense to you. It's one of the areas we most enjoy designing, because there are no real limits.
